- All 4J employees and school board members may be issued an e-mail account.
- Guest Accounts may be issued to non-employees based on benefit to the district
and resource availability.

Staff: All staff requesting a 4JNet account should send a copy of this application to CIS. Staff are expected to follow the Guidelines for Accessing 4JNet. The account
will usually be established within 24 hours of its arrival in CIS. CIS will send written confirmation of the account to the staff person's school/department. The notification will include the USERNAME and temporary PASSWORD. Included with the notification
will be brief instructions for logging on and changing the password.
Guests: Non 4J employees will be issued e-mail accounts when
those accounts are beneficial to the district. Guest accounts have limited privileges
based on the person's need to know. Guests are expected to follow the Guidelines
for Accessing 4JNet. Applications for guest accounts must be signed by the
building/department administrator/supervisor. The accounts will usually be established
within 24 hours of their arrival in CIS. Guests will receive notification of
their account with written confirmation returned to the administrator/supervisor
signing the request. The notification will include the USERNAME and temporary
PASSWORD. Included with the notification will be brief instructions for logging
on and changing the password.
