Review of Latest Draft of the Task Force ReportThe committee reviewed the latest version of the report that will eventually be submitted to the Schools of the Future Committee. Most of the time was spent on the newer sections of the report. Included in this were the recommendations and supporting information for professional development, volunteers, and program staffing. It was also our first look at how the appendixes will be put together. |
Consensus Building Regarding Each RecommendationThe Task Force then went back through the document and came to consensus regarding each of the key recommendations. Consensus was reached on all points of the document. As directed by the Task Force, Bette and Wally will make the changes in the report that were agreed on at the meeting. They will then e-mail the committee the final draft, to be reviewed before the Thursday Night Public Hearing on March 2. Any other changes that the group wants to make can be suggested at the Hearing. |
Public HearingThe hearing is scheduled for Thursday, March 2, 2000, 7-9:00 PM in the 4J Auditorium. |
Next MeetingThe next Task Force meeting, after the hearing, is scheduled for Tuesday, March 7, 2000, in the 4J Auditorium, as needed. At the conclusion of the Public Hearing we will decide if the March 7 meeting is needed or not. Bette/Wally will send out an e-mail on Friday to inform committee members if the scheduled meeting is on or off. |
