As a part of the Schools of the Future process, members of the Resources Task Force appreciate the opportunity to help shape direction of School District 4J as it moves into the 21st century. We, the undersigned, call on everyone concerned about public schooling in Eugene -- leaders in education, health, youth serving, and community organizations, local, state, and federal governments, the private sector, and philanthropy, as well as parents -- to join us in this effort. The task force calls on all of these sectors to raise public awareness about the human and financial resource needs of District 4J and to create the social climate and political pressure that will make Eugene Public Schools the finest in the nation. | |
