HousekeepingWe approved the Nov. 4 Minutes. It was also noted that the Dec. 14 meeting with the Schools of the Future Committee has been postponed until Jan. 11. Evie also shared with us that the whole committee does not have to participate in the Jan. meeting. Rather the SFC would like us to have a panel of four to five people to present. |

The state of Human Resources in 4JWally shared a packet of employee data which showed the teacher retirees and vacancies 1998-2000, work force by classification, teachers/administrators by age, teachers/administrators with 25 years in 4J, and work force by ethnicity. Wally indicated that the biggest challenge that he faces is to attract and keep a qualified, diversified work force. |
