What is the Exposure Control Plan and how do I get a copy?

Eugene School District has developed a Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Control Plan. A copy of this red booklet can be obtained from the 4J Risk Management office. All employees have access to the exposure control plan.

An exposure means that a person has been in contact with, or exposed, to potentially infected blood or body fluids.

The Exposure Control Plan has detailed information about who may be at risk for occupational exposure. Consult this book if you think you are at risk.
