Downloading PDF Files

The downloadable forms available at this site are stored in Portable Document Format (PDF).  PDF files can be read on a variety of computer systems, while preserving the original document's layout and format. Most of the forms can also be filled-in and printed on your computer system.

To view and print PDF files, Adobe Acrobat Reader must be installed on your computer, or your browser (such as Netscape or Internet Explorer) must support viewing PDF files. This program is free, and may be downloaded directly from Adobe's web site or clicking the "Get Acrobat Reader" icon below. Click here to go directly to the HR forms and skip the instructions.

While most browsers can view PDF files directly from a web site, performance is generally better if the document file is downloaded to your PC before viewing. Once the file has been downloaded, you can view it at any time without the need to connect your browser to the page where the document was published.

To download, place the cursor over the document "PDF format" link (the pointer will change its shape) and click the mouse button appropriate for your computer.

PC Users
click the right mouse button
Mac Users
click and hold the mouse button, or hold down the Command key and click the mouse

The browser will display a dialog box or menu showing a number of options. Click "Save File", "Save Target as", "Save to disk", "Save Link as", or a "Save" choice (the exact wording depends on your browser), then specify where on your computer the file should be saved.

Be sure you note where on your computer the file is saved.

After the PDF file has been saved, you can open it in Adobe Acrobat Reader at any time, there is no need to be connected to the internet

The following forms are Adobe PDF fill-in forms. This means you can "fill in" the form using your computer. After the form is filled in, you can then print the form with all of the data.

At the bottom of each form is a "Reset and Clear" button. Pressing this button will clear all data you have previously entered on the form (ie: start over). There is also a "Print Form" button to easily print your completed or blank forms to your printer.

There are times when filling in a form, you can not fit all of the information in the space provided. If at all possible, try to limit your answer so it will display entirely in the area. If you still need more space, then you use the "Additional Information" form in the Miscellaneous section below to open another form that will allow you to submit the additional information. Some forms have a link to the additional information form in the upper right corner of the form. If not, then use the link below.

Note: You will not be able to save any data entered, unless you have the full version of Adobe Acrobat (not just the free Acrobat Reader).
