Families and students will be invited
to an Open House at their
Summer Academy site (listed below)
Dates and Times to be announced.

Days and Times:

2006 Students attend class mornings,
9:00- 12:00,
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Breakfast 8:40 AM & Lunch 12:00 PM

School Sites:

Madison (875 Wilkes Dr.) serving students who attend Madison, Cal Young, Kelly, and Monroe
Kennedy
(2200 Bailey Hill Rd.) serving students who attend Kennedy, Jefferson, Roosevelt, and Spencer Butte.

Students Served:

Current 6th and 7th grade students and
incoming 6th grade students
Enrollment target: 80 students per building
Teaching Team:
Each classroom staffed with:
1 certified teacher and
1 instructional assistant

Instructional Goal:

Deliver research-based curriculum in reading, writing, and mathematics to sustain or to increase performance on district and state assessments.

Transportation:

Students meeting district qualifications
will receive bus transportation
to and from their home.

Food:
