Another way of taking notes to make sure that everything about one topic is together is using one sheet of notebook paper for every topic.

It isn't as easy to regroup your information as with notecards but it is easier to keep track of.

You would need to keep a list of all the sources you looked at so you could use a short form when you took notes.
