The advantage of notecards is that you can group the final stack
of cards any way you want. This puts all the information you have
on one topic together to make a good paragraph or subtopic.
Notecards
Here is one way to take notes using notecards:
Notice that there are only main ideas on the notecard - not whole sentences
or paragraphs.
All the notes on a single notecard are from the same source and on the
same topic.
If you only take notes AND produce your final product from your own
notes instead of looking at the original material, you have a much better
chance of not plagarizing your project.
You can devise any system for identifying the notecards
that you want.
You just need to be sure that :
You can tell which topic the information refers to.
You can identify the source and the page for each piece of information.
