Staff of César E. Chavez believe a strong connection between parents, students and the school is the best way to promote student success. With that in mind, César Chávez values parent involvement and collaboration. Parent and student councils from César Chávez and Family School, an alternative school located at César Chávez, are blended. Parents also connect with the school through its Family Resource Center. Students learn to be caring self-managers, with an emphasis on cooperation with others. Establishing high academic and social standards and sharing with parents the responsibility for student success are primary missions at César Chávez.
