Yujin Gakuen is a Japanese immersion alternative school where students study integrated curriculum in both Japanese and English. Work in a multimedia computer lab reinforces reading, math, and writing skills and teaches computer skills and applications. By the end of fifth grade, students develop communication skills in Japanese and English, along with international awareness. The name, loosely translated from Japanese, means "friendly garden of learning." Yujin Gakuen is a K-12 program that continues to middle- and high school immersion settings.
