Trespassing | |
To help protect students and school property, and to prevent disruptive activity, school officials must know if any persons who are not members of the school staff or student body are in the school building, or on the school grounds.
Visitors are permitted on school grounds as long as their presence is not for the purpose of disrupting school, nor threatening, nor intimidating others in school, and so long as school officials know of and consent to the visit in advance. During a regular school day all visitors are required to first report to the school office to arrange for their visit. Visitors who are in violation of this policy will be considered in violation of the law and will be subject to prosecution for criminal trespass in the second degree, as provided by ORS 164.245. | |
