On August 31, 2004, the team of Kennedy administrators and teachers who attended the Eric Jensen training on "Teaching with the Brain in Mind" passed on their learnings to their school colleagues. They demonstrated teaching strategies, and had everyone involved, even the school mascot Border Collie.

The Kennedy mascot models the appropriate degree of attention to information shown on the overhead: The Brain Matters!	Brain Team members present aspects they have learned about how the brain processes information.	Kennedy staff members take notes on prepared handouts to reinforce their own learning.
