On August 26, 2004, all administrators new to Eugene School District 4J attended an orientation meeting. The session included an overview of the Wallace grant goals and support, as well as an overview of district policies and resources.

Kay Mehas hands out the Wallace District 4J LEAD Grant overview.


New administrators include several Wallace Grant interns.

Tom Henry, Assist. Superintendent, explains the district view that leadership is service, and is supported.

*Permission Test:

1. is it good for all students?

2. is it legal & ethical?

. is it consistent with values & goals of the organization?

. is it wise use of resources?


If you can answer "yes" to all of these questions, just do it.
