“If I can’t learn the way you teach,

can you teach the way I learn?”

Teaching has always been an amazing adventure of learning, sharing and teaching.  Children have so much to teach us and it has always been an exciting journey to be a part of their learning process.  Learning to set up the possibilities, provide a safe learning environment, and then getting out of the way as they explore possibilities has been my greatest challenge and given me my greatest rewards.

While always looking for the unique hook to engage children, my classroom was fairly traditional.  With the introduction of a wide variety of technology tools, most specifically the interactive whiteboard and student response systems, the way I teach has changed significantly.

With the availability of these new tools I have become more intrigued with how technology has changed the learning environment and engaged more learners for more time.  There is still so much to learn and I am still having fun being a part of it all. I think I will put retirement off a little longer while we all learn together.  Won’t you please join us in that adventure?
